Carla Jane McCallum is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre).

Carla’s theatre credits include Essgee Productions Pirates of Penzance, Matthilde in Thoroughly Modern Millie for The Production Company, Bodybag for Itch Productions , Twelfth Night (Viola) for Green Cyc. and Jen in the award winning WTF?! for Fine Work Theatre Company.  Carla was awarded ‘Best Actress’ at Sydney’s Short & Sweet Festival in 2010 for her portrayal of Jen, and WTF?! (which she also wrote) was nominated for best comedy script.

Carla’s on screen credits include Satisfaction for Showcase, as well as various short films and commercials. She can also be heard on the air waves, having provided voiceovers for many campaigns. 

For a number of years, Carla sailed the high seas working as a Guest Entertainer and Production Vocalist for Princess Cruises, headlining in over 12 onboard production shows.  Early in her career, Carla performed in countless children’s shows and pantomimes throughout Australia and New Zealand, most notably as Host of the popular Wiggles Character Shows (Entertainment Store).  She also performed the role of Wendy in Green Cyc’s summer production of Peter Pan in Apollo Bay.

No stranger to singing three part harmony, Carla is also a busy corporate performer, having performed in such cabaret acts as Champagne Serenade and The Dream Divas - a reimagined version of Debra Byrne’s Girls, Girls, Girls. 

A career highlight, in 2008 Carla was a backing vocalist for Michael Bublé during his Call Me Irresponsible Melbourne concerts.

In 2014, Carla created The Jingle Belles, a Christmas themed vocal trio which has been a favourite at many Carols By Candlelight and corporate events in Melbourne since its inception, and heads into its 4th season in 2017.
